Moderator - Tracy McDowell: Certified Digital Wellness Educator and Feng Shui Practitioner Tracy E. McDowell has spent the last five years studying technologies' impact on our environments' feng shui and overall wellbeing. In 2017 they participated in the first Digital Wellness Summit, participated in the Digital Wellness Collective, and began to include evidence-based tech research-informed feng shui with their clients. In 2020 Tracy participated in the first every Digital Wellness day and co-authored the first Digital Wellness Day's "Tool Kit." Tracy is proud of their "Feng Shui for the Mind a 3 Part Series" in the Digital Wellness Collective Publication and their YouTube video collaboration with t.n.t "Digital Laundry: Email Addition" Find Tracy in Brooklyn, NY designing, singing, and teaching yogadance, or on their newest online reels series with their digitalfengshui IG.


Anna Lomanowska: Dr. Anna Lomanowska is a research scientist and educator in psychology and neuroscience. She is the director of the Digital Well-Being Lab, Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Laval University, a teacher at The Digital Wellness Institute, and former Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto Mississauga. She conducts research and speaks about cultivating human connections in the digital age, including at TEDx UofT. She received her PhD in Psychology specializing in Behavioural Neuroscience from the University of Toronto (Toronto, Canada) and became interested in Cyberpsychology during her postdoctoral training at Laval University (Quebec City, Canada). She explores the function of interpersonal physical contact in social interactions and its role in development and well-being. She currently works as a scientific associate and consultant in Toronto, Canada, applying research-informed insights to knowledge translation and education in the areas of digital well-being, eHealth, and online health promotion.

Dr. Sharmin Habib: Dr. Habib completed undergraduate studies in science and psychology at the University of Alberta and University of Leeds in the UK. She then graduated with a Doctorate of Optometry and BSc degree from The New England College of Optometry in Boston and has since completed yoga teacher training, strategic business marketing and co-founded a non-profit organization—The Make Change Project, connecting donors with recipients through personalized giving. She has international clinical experience with a focus on product development and the physiological and psychological impact of screen time. She is the co-founder of Umay, the first digital rest and recovery company developing a Thermal Meditation™ device to help reset the effects of screen time fore better sleep and eye health. Mother of 7-year-old twins, she is a strong wellness advocate with special interests in mindfulness and meditation, ayurvedic philosophy and yoga - always looking at ways to integrate self-care and wellness into daily living.
